1 Corinthians 12: 1-31
Does life feel like we're dealt a hand of cards by God
Some cards feel like great moments
some are filled with crisis.
With the cards you've been dealt, how do you respond?
Lets listen now to Eddie and think about that
God's perfect plan that is far more
than just a random shuffle of the deck

Who we are is significant
Our lives, where we come from, where we've lived
What we do
How we come at life, or what we run from
We all lack wisdom
how we go at the world reveals who we are
sometimes our lives feel like they're shattered
we're proud, wants, hopes, fears, needs crowd our hearts
it doesn't have to stay that way
God isn't silent
He has spoken to us in his Bible
we don't have to guess at how he wants us to live
We have a God who meets us right in the midst of the mess of our lives
He meets us in real life
when God searches our heart
We get to see ourselves as we are
My question is : Where does your hope come from?
In this letter of the Bible in 1 Corinthians
We come to look at life square on at Jesus
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts, and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body-whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free-and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
A church is a household of believers
people who believe in Jesus
follow him & we come together to encourage one another to do that
Here you are in a church not on the outside
Everyone who puts their trust in Jesus
Have two promises made to them
Everyone who responds to Jesus
Has a part to play in his church
We receive a gift from God to use right here
