we are influenced in lots of ways we don't always see

like when we come to who Jesus is

The compelling nature of Jesus is when he meets someone
He knows them
He knows what's going on for them

If ever we say something about Jesus it is you get me , you know what's on my mind and in my heart

It feels like the Jesus we see in the Bible understands life better in every way than we do

Our lives feel like they have a huge thorn tree in them
The things we struggle with
things we do because we do them

So much can crowd us
We want to make sense of the world
The heat of life comes at us in different ways
We a sinned against wronged by others

We create our own pain by taking refuge in the wrong places
We get angry when we're sad
We withdraw when we feel pain and guilt
